Toronto & GTA Specialists

A Toronto Company Specializing in Drain, Sewer and Waterproofing Services

Rooter Brothers is not a general plumbing company. We specialize in drain and sewer systems, basement waterproofing, and essential plumbing — the three categories that protect your home from water damage at every level.

Every technician is licensed under Skilled Trades Ontario, insured, and experienced in the specific type of work your home requires. We have been doing this across Toronto and the GTA for over 15 years, and our reputation is built on showing up when we say we will, giving you a price before we start, and not leaving until the job is done right.

Our Drain & Sewer Services

Professional Drain & Sewer Services in Toronto

Drain and sewer work is the main focus of Rooter Brothers. From clogged drains and slow main lines to sewer backups, pipe bursting and sewer replacement, our team provides targeted solutions for the most common and most serious drainage problems in Toronto homes and commercial properties.

Drain Cleaning

We clear kitchen, bathroom, floor, and laundry drains using professional snaking and hydro jetting. We confirm flow before leaving.

Drain Repair

Cracked, broken, or collapsed drain lines repaired after a camera inspection shows exactly where the damage is.

Camera Inspection

We inspect the line and locate defects, root intrusion, cracks, and failing transitions, all based on what the camera shows.

Sewer Line Repair

Camera inspection first. Then spot repair, pipe relining, or full replacement based on what we actually find.

Main Drain Snaking

Mechanical clearing of the main drain line connecting your home to the city sewer. Same-day response across the GTA.

Hydro Jetting

High-pressure water scours grease, scale, and roots off the pipe wall for recurring clogs in homes and businesses.

Pipe Bursting

Trenchless sewer line replacement with minimal disruption to your yard and landscaping. Two access points only.

Sewer Backup

Sewage in your basement cannot wait. We dispatch immediately day or night and clear the main line before leaving.

Building Trap Removal

Older Toronto homes with a building trap get repeat backups. We remove it and install a cleanout for easy future access.

Why Specialists

Why Hire Drain & Sewer Specialists in Toronto?

Most plumbing companies treat drains as a side job. For us, it is the main job. Toronto’s housing stock makes drain and sewer work its own specialty, and the right diagnosis the first time saves you from paying twice.

Older Toronto Homes

Century homes in the east end, the Annex, and the west end still run on clay laterals and cast iron stacks. We know how these pipes fail and how to repair them without unnecessary digging.

Building Traps & Roots

Building traps and tree roots cause many of the repeat backups we see. We find them on camera and fix the cause, not just the clog.

The Right Equipment

Sewer cameras, hydro jetters, drain locators, and trenchless pipe bursting gear on our trucks. We diagnose before we dig.

One Team, Whole System

Drains, plumbing, and waterproofing under one roof, so your backwater valve, sump pump, and main line work together.

More Than Drains

Plumbing & Waterproofing Services in Toronto & the GTA

Drain and sewer work is our specialty, but it is not all we do. Our team of licensed plumbers in Toronto handles repairs, leaks, and emergencies, and our basement waterproofing crews keep basements dry from the inside and out.

Plumbing Services

From small repairs to full plumbing installations, Rooter Brothers handles essential plumbing work for homes and commercial properties.

Waterproofing Services

Protect your basement and foundation from water damage with practical waterproofing and flood prevention solutions.

Save on Flood Protection

City of Toronto Basement Flooding Protection Subsidy

Qualifying Toronto homeowners can receive up to $6,650 through the City’s Basement Flooding Protection Subsidy Program for installing a backwater valve, a sump pump, or both. Rooter Brothers installs both systems, handles the permits, and gives you the documents you need for your application. If you have already had a sewer backup, this is the first thing we recommend.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Marco and his team showed up within 2 hours of us reaching out about a mysterious leak, and we discovered that we were actually having a plumbing emergency as our sewer line backed up because it was full of debris. The team cleared up the backup on the first visit, and gave us a detailed report with high quality videos to submit to our home insurance carrier. Our insurance company said the report was textbook perfect and we were able to get our claim approved in record time! The team returned to replace the sewer line and got it done in a day. They were very communicative throughout the process. They looked exceptionally coordinated and they kept the worksite neat and tidy. Multiple neighbors commented on how impressed they were with the professionalism they observed from the team. They supplied another video after the work was done to show the new sewer line working well. What could have been an extremely stressful situation was very calm thanks to their quality of service. I can't recommend these guys highly enough!!!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a plumbing emergency on the weekend and Rooter Brothers were able to send someone out. Steven was the plumber who came and he was really good. He checked everything, explained what the issue was, and got it fixed.

I liked that he didn’t try to overcomplicate things or push anything extra. Just straight forward, polite, and professional. Not cheap having an emergency call on a weekend, but I was happy with the service and glad they were available. Would call them again.
